Military Appreciation Month Spotlight: Lieutenant Colonel, USMC (ret) Jason Actis, MBA ’24

During National Military Appreciation Month, we sat down and talked with Lieutenant Colonel, USMC (ret) Jason Actis, MBA ’24. It was an honor to spend time with him and listen to some of his incredible experiences in the military and as a student at New England College. Here are just some of his amazing accomplishments:

• Marine Corps Aviator, combat tours to Iraq, and recipient of four Air Medals
• Selected to be part of the Transition Team for the 1st Marine Corps General to be the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff
• Financial Management Officer, setting up a new Marine Corps organization overseeing the Marine Corps’ third largest Operations and Maintenance budget while implementing a new database system contributing to the DoD’s 1st Service with a Clean Audit Opinion
